


About Us-SaVE Communities Project
The SaVE Communities Project (sometimes abbreviated as SaVE, for Science Adding Value to the Environment and the Community) is an innovative community empowerment and environmental sustainability initiative launched by H.E. Dr. Joyce G. N. Kithure, Kenya’s Second Lady and a distinguished environmental scientist and educator. As a senior lecturer in Environmental Chemistry with deep academic and practical experience, H.E. Dr. Joyce G. N. Kithure champions the use of science and technology (STEM) to address some of Kenya’s most pressing societal and environmental challenges.
